Following an investigation, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office declared that there was no danger at the Avenues Mall.

An initial call, according to JSO, was made after a mall visitor allegedly observed someone wearing what they thought to be inappropriate clothing. for instance, a uniform that resembles fatigues or a tactical vest worn over apparel.

JSO was called in by the mall to conduct a security check of the structure, which resulted in the departure of all patrons and staff.

Officers allegedly searched the area but were unable to locate anything or anyone wearing the caller’s described attire.
